About the project
Norwegian research and innovation receive financing from both the state and commercial sector. The oil and gas sector is a large contributor, and pay for development within oil and gas, but also to develop renewable solutions. In GreenBlack we will follow the money, and determine whether they prolong or shorten the age of petroleum.
What do we do?
In GreenBlack we will first explore research projects that have received financing from oil and gas actors from 1990 until today. We look at projects who have received funding for petroleum research, but also projects that have received money from the petroleum sector for research into other technologies and renewables.
